Classic traditional Tele styling with some less traditional woods and features! This one features an Ambrosia Maple top, a wood which gets it’s name from the (Ambrosia) beetle which makes those holes that can be seen on the top. As the beetle makes its way through the wood, it bores holes and leaves a fungus behind which causes the striking colours in what would otherwise be a plain coloured top.

The body is a single piece of English Ash, rather than the more typically used American and it features some very attractive grain, with some subtle flame like figure in places. The body also features a tummy cutaway on the back to make the guitar more comfortable and reduce weight. Underneath the top we have a black accent/pinstripe to separate the two similarly coloured woods.
For the neck we have more Maple with an Ebony fretboard to match the black Gotoh hardware. So with the combination of woods and hardware there is a very clear black and white theme to this guitar.

The pickups are from Bare Knuckle Pickups and it is their Piledriver set, these are much hotter than your typical Tele pickup set, yet still retain all the character….a bit like the classic sound except on steroids!
