A modern version of a popular design which has been with us for decades. The body may look familiar, but the reversed headstock is a new design, which as you will see I'm quite fond of as it is also features on the Apparition. This suits the guitar perfectly, with that bottom hook mimicking the bottom cutaway on the body making an oval between the two, linking the body with headstock. This whole guitar has a futuristic look to it which is continued with the colour scheme of gun metal grey with aluminium pickguard, rear tremolo plate and even an aluminium nut.
The body is alder and the neck maple featuring a beautiful 22 fret Brazilian kingwood fingerboard, which looks stunning with beautiful purple streaks. It is also very hard making it an excellent fingerboard choice being much more exciting in appearance (to my eyes) than other varieties of rosewood.
It is fitted with a tremolo system and Gotoh Magnum locking tuners ensuring the guitar stays in tune without using a locking nut. Instead the nut is of aluminium, creating a nice bright tone to open notes.
Three Kent Armstrong pickups provide lots of power, having the mighty Motherbucker at the bridge and two mini Kent Armstrong Blades humbuckers in the middle and neck positions. It is also fitted with a kill switch on the bottom horn.
